I am Particularly Interested

This day that I write, October 2, 2012, I am a little younger than forty. I began my journey amongst blogs about two years back. Much has changed about me, and in me, since then. Understandably, much has changed in my blogs, too.

It would be quite tiresome to relate all that went on in my blogs all this while — if you didn’t know me then, it hardly matters anyway. If you ask me “Why blog?”, I can no longer answer the question. Honestly, I do not know why I blog, but I do. And since you’re already here, you might as well explore a little. Should you please, of course.

An important fact, which you will not come to know in any of my posts, is that I am very busy with bringing up my daughter, believing that I must publish my writing, earning a living, and, to round off the fun, nagging my poor husband. Therefore, dear reader, I shall find it difficult to return your visit as often as I used to, as often as I want to. I am interested, particularly interested, in you, too, but that’s not enough, you see. I must have at least two minds in two bodies to be able to achieve all that I want to.

In spite of all of the confusion here, if you still wish to continue, welcome!

    1. Thank you, Emily. I could spread a soft carpet, should you like it, fumigate the air with your favourite perfume… Damn it, do anything that pleases you. “Funny sense of humour”? Gosh! You’re alone in thinking so, I’m sure. But that very fact makes you my favourite.

  3. I’m glad you blog. I enjoy your insights and observations. May the time you need to blog and balance all the other aspects of life be always available to you.

  4. Hi Priya! I wanted to let you know I did close down HOI, it’s a bit of a long story. I agree with what you say here, blogging is a funny activity, and we don’t know why we do it, but who cares πŸ˜‰ I have a new blog but I’m not advertising it, if you give me your email (can’t find it here) I will give you a link. patrice

  5. Well, I am going to comment about a comment, and not on the post, cos I know you already πŸ˜‰ Funny sense of humour! Do you have a funny sense of humour? I thought you didn’t, but then again I thought, and when I read your reply, am like, yeah, may be she does have a funny sense of humour. May be not funny-ha-ha, but speaks-to-the-heart-sorta-funny. What do you think? πŸ™‚ I am going to mail you…

    1. πŸ™‚ Reading your mail is as smile-giving as is this comment. Especially because you eventually got around to seeing the only truth that matters — I am very humoured.
